As a modern Irish Whiskey Bonder, we are explorers, curators and creators of unique expressions. We hand selected Single Grain Irish Whiskey with a wheat heavy mash bill which was initially matured for 6 years in first fill Bourbon casks from Kentucky, U.S.A, we then placed it in Tequila casks from Jalisco, Mexico, for a further 3 years.

This 9 year old is named in memory of the Batallón de San Patricios who fought bravely alongside the Mexican army during the Mexican - American war of 1846-48. Their unit was composed mainly of Irish immigrants, many of whom were from the West Coast of Ireland and this release is a nod to their bravery.

NOSE: Delicate Floral Character, Fresh Orange, Citrus and Sweet Agave. 

PALATE: Honeyed Agave, Oak Spice with Hints of Vanilla and Caramel. 

FINISH: Long, Lingering Balance of Sweetness and Spice with Peppery and Citrus Notes.
