"The Capuchin Charity Bottling'' with Friends of Irish Whiskey
"The Capuchin Charity Bottling'' with Friends of Irish Whiskey
Our third exclusive J.J. Corry release with FOIW ( Friends of Irish Whiskey) group which culminates our trilogy of releases for 2024.
This bottling is a blend of the two previous releases - "The Butt" which was a single malt Irish Whiskey and "The Trio" which was a blend of three Pot Still Irish whiskeys ( two were non compliant pot still Irish Whiskey's). We married these two together and matured further in a Pajerete cask for 5 months, adding another dense layer of sherry influence to this Whiskey.
As a modern Irish Whiskey bonder, it is a great pleasure to be able to collaborate with the Friends of Irish Whiskey group on another bottling, but this specific bottling is being released as a charitable project with proceeds from each bottle being donated to 3 very worthy charities - The Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin, The Peoples Kitchen in Belfast, and Cork Penny Dinners in Co Cork.
Shipping for this release is being handled by our friends at The Whiskey Hub / Irish Whiskey Auctions, but please note we are still awaiting delivery of the gift box of this release from suppliers, so we anticipate shipping of this bottling to begin on December 13th.
